Set on a hillside near central Seoul, interior designer Juno Yoon of Juno Yoon Office transformed his long, narrow apartment into a calm and continuous home for himself, his wife Mihyun Son, and their cat Goyo. The renovation removed almost every internal door creating a flowing living space where light can travel from one end of the apartment to the other. A long custom stainless steel kitchen forms the heart of the home, extending into a window-side shelf and breakfast bar where the couple start their mornings together. Lightweight furniture, integrated storage, glass surfaces and carefully designed lighting keep the interior feeling open, while enclosed former balconies create additional living, planting, and utility space.
